Are you ready to try some life-changing magic? I promise there no "sacrifices" involved.
While I think it's magical to toss junk to the curb, there are plenty of items that are quite necessary in today's world we must keep.
Twist ties, cable ties, zip ties, paperclips, husbands, that penny that you picked up that special time with so and so.
You get the idea.
You, of course, have it under control. You're a brilliant human being who understands everything has a place and you know where it is. Your problem is that you live with other human beings who expect you to find that place for every single little item to walk the face of the earth.
Sadly we can't just hug these items, thank them, and toss them in the trash. So we do the next best thing we put them in the drawer of delayed decisions. Also known as.... (sad trumpet sound - wa wa wa).... the junk drawer. The drawer with batteries and that last stick of gum.
The drawer you have to jiggle to get closed.Yeah, let's do something about it.
I promise you'll feel superhuman or at very least productive. I'd make us all t-shirts, "I cleaned my junk drawer and it changed my life" but I'm not sure it will catch on.
No matter, you've got this.
Gather up your choice of supplies. Either the over the door organizer, the cereal boxes or ice cube trays. Then toss your junk on the counter and go!
The over the door organizer can easily be hidden in a pantry or attached garage if your junk drawer is located in the kitchen. Hang it with nails or 3m hooks instead of the provided over the door hangers to get it to lay flat right where you want it.
Use the ice cube trays in the drawer or just as a handy dandy tray for a project. You'll look like a genius doing it. Smile and feel magical, accepting compliments. You've got this!
Look back on what you've accomplished and realize that not once did you need to thank your batteries for the service they provide.
